Hi, I'm John

I quit my tech job to drive across the country and talk to people about their lives. Wanna come?

We are here

Yes, our politics is a dumpster fire.

But what if I told you there's hope? That we can still find common ground?

In this section, I'll tell you a bit about myself and why I started the podcast.

Hi! I'm John.
Hi! I'm John.

I grew up in Memphis and went to school in Boston. Today, I live with my partner in San Francisco's sunny Mission District.

For the last eight years, I've worked in tech. Then, in January, I decided to quit my job and hit the road.

I'm a big fan of America
I'm a big fan of America

So it's weird to me that our politics is such a mess. Like, the USA is full of creative, respectful, hard-working people.

So why are we always at each other's throats? Why do we have such bad options, politically?
